The device will be available through Mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Home, through preferred partner stores and with special offers from Jio. The price for the 4GB/64GB model is INR 16,999 (or around €215) with the more premium 6GB/128GB model coming later.
Xiaomi launched Mi A2 as the second Android One phone in India. Google originally launched the Android One program to give stock Android experience on the entry-level handsets in developing markets. However, after the initial launch of Karbonn, Micromax and Spice, there were no new products in India. Google later revived the Android One in 2017, which offers users to offer smartphones running stock Android without any manufacturer's optimization. The first of these was in Xiaomi Mi A1 (Review) in India which was launched last year.
Xiaomi's Mi A2 is part of Google's Android One program. It gives a 5.99-inch display with full HD + resolution and for protection the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 is. It is powered by Snapdragon 660 processor, which has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Xiaomi Mi A2 has a metal unibody design and 3000mAh battery. It has a USB Type-C port at the bottom and an IR blaster at the top. Xiaomi Mi A2 stock runs on Android 8.1 Orio. It has a dual-camera setup behind 12-megapixel primary camera and 20-megapixel secondary camera. Smartphone also has Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4+ support. This is a dual sim device with 4G and VoLTE support on both slots.
